Pricing & Quotes

Quick answers to the most common cost and quote questions.

Q How much does a resin driveway cost?

Resin driveway costs depend mainly on the size of the area and the features involved (such as manholes and steps). Our online calculator gives a helpful guide price, and we’ll always provide a free site visit for an accurate quote.

Q What affects the final price?

Final pricing can vary depending on:

  • Condition of the existing base
  • Access to the work area
  • Edging or detailing required
  • Drainage adjustments
Q What is a manhole?

A manhole is a larger covered opening that gives access to underground drainage or sewer pipes. You’ll usually see it as a heavy metal cover set into a driveway, road or path.

If your driveway has one, we allow for it in the quote so the resin surface can be installed neatly around the cover.

Q What is an inspection chamber?

An inspection chamber is a smaller access point to underground drainage pipes. It usually has a plastic or metal cover and allows the drains to be inspected or cleared if needed.

These are commonly found on driveways or garden paths. When installing resin surfacing we allow for them so the new surface can be finished neatly around the cover.

Q Is VAT included in your prices?

Yes — our calculator figures are shown as VAT-inclusive guide prices.

Q Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. We’re happy to visit your property, take measurements, assess the base and provide a clear written quote at no cost.

Installation & Process

What to expect before, during and after installation.

Q How long does installation take?

Most residential projects are completed within a few days depending on size and preparation work required.

Q How soon can I walk or drive on it?

You can normally walk on the surface after 24 hours and drive on it after around 48 hours depending on weather conditions.

Q Can resin be laid over existing concrete or tarmac?

Often yes — if the existing base is solid and suitable. We assess this during your site visit.

Q Will there be much disruption?

We keep disruption to a minimum and will always discuss access with you before work begins.

Q Do you use subcontractors?

No. All work is completed by our own team to ensure consistent quality.

Durability & Maintenance

How resin performs and how to look after it.

Q How long does resin bound surfacing last?

When installed correctly on a suitable base it can last 15–20 years or more.

Q Is resin bound permeable?

Yes. Resin bound surfaces are designed to allow water to drain through them.

Q Will it crack?

The surface itself is flexible, but cracks can occur if the base underneath is unstable.

Q Is resin slippery?

Resin bound surfaces have a textured finish which provides good grip.

Q How do I maintain it?

Simple sweeping and occasional washing keeps it clean.
